<p>I very worried about my 2nd semester grades and I know I'm at the verge of getting a B in some classes. How can I improve my chances or can I not anymore? We've already taken all of our finals and our last day is just a "party day." Should I just wait for the best or should I talk to the teacher about something? Will he be annoyed if I do??</p>
<p>If there is nothing you can do about it now, whats the point of talking to the teacher about it? Just face the facts---its too late now.</p>

<p>I never have to ask since all our grades are online. But if you don't have that type of service, there isn't a problem with asking.</p>

<p>Well...you should have asked BEFORE the final. If you need a push of a point or two to make an A, you should have asked for extra credit, etc. Most teachers don't care if you are willing to work, but it's their "last party day" as much as it is for you.</p>
<p>Good teachers usually let you know what grades you have in high school. There is a website where I can go to check the grade I got on every assignment and keep up to date with my grades.</p>
<p>I don't see why asking what a current grade is would be bad. Teachers are alwyas glad to tell you what your average is, it's their job and you're their student. What isn't right is asking for a way to change the grade the day before the final, which is much too late. There is a deadline for submitting grades and it's unlikely they will let you do anything more.</p>

<p>i ask all the time, esp when it comes to chem, my chem teacher just knows that i go to her room after school at least every other day. she's not annoyed and she's really nice altho her tests are mad hard and that makes me hate her sometimes. lol</p>
<p>i don't see why u can't go to a teacher and ask about grades. i think it only shows how much u care.</p>
