<p>i tend to prefer discussions in in the middle of the week (tues/wed/thurs) and after a lecture. </p>

<p>It is irrelevant except for exams. Sometimes, certain groups of students may get more instruction from their discussion before an exam.</p>
<p>I would recommend enrolling in discussions that come before lectures, because if the "lecture" happens to be a midterm exam then your TA can review the midterm material during discussion and it will remain fresh by the time you take the midterm exam. :rolleyes:</p>
