<p>I would not feel obligated to tell the whole truth, but would mention a couple of schools and/or possibilities if asked in an interview. It would be awkward to refuse to say anything in an interview, so I would have an answer ready. It need not be the full truth. Early in the season, you can get by with saying that you "are thinking about" this or that place. On the common application, I would not feel obligated to answer. By the way, people say that when your SATs are reported, the schools see your list of recipients for that particular score report order, although not overall if you requested SAT scores a number of times.</p>
