First of all, I was wondering if Steinhardt has a senior showcase. I think they do, but I’m not 100% sure. Also, how many students usually get offers from agents? I ask this because I see posts that say every student from CCM and Michigan, etc. was signed after their showcase and I was wondering how Steinhardt compares. Thanks!

Steinhardt has a showcase. I also don’t think you can go by what happens one year with certain students and what may be the next year.

Also, some other posts that were put up about other schools referred to RESPONSES from agents which are not the same as signing with an agent. The signing is not necessarily within a day of a showcase but rather a student will get responses from a certain number of agents to contact them and interview with them in person and go from there. Some of these may turn into offers of representation or contracts and some may not.

Keep in mind too, that CCM has had a cut program and so it has had some affect in who eventually goes to showcase in the first place. (though the school has an excellent reputation and many talented students)

yes, NYU has a showcase. yes, students get responses from agents and a significant number sign. but the numbers change every year. good news…all seniors get in showcase and it is well attended each year.
