showing passion in an application

Hey doods, not sure if this is the right place for this, but,
I want to attend UChicago or Yale in the future (I’m currently a Junior) and I want to show a passion for chemistry in my app. So far, I’m applying to a few summer programs, but thats about it. I have a nearly perfect SAT and SAT IIs, GPA, etc. I get that I cant just make it look like I’m passionate on paper, I’m positive the admissions office can smell my poop. Does anyone have any good programs they know of, competitions for me to show my love of chemistry? Is it too late for siemens or ISEF? Science olympiad is NOT offered at my school, and I live in a pretty quiet area where STEM ecs are hard to come by.

Thanks

A summer internship at a lab would be pretty good. A summer program taking a class at a college would be a good idea as well. Does you school have any kind of science fair? At my school, we don’t have one, but kids can do an independent study for their project and compete at the regional or state level. I don’t know much about the other competitions you listed.

I like the idea of doing a summer internship in a lab, I’ll look into it!
Also, we don’t have a science fair nor do we have independent studies in the sciences.

Thanks!

buy a home chemistry set and teach chemistry to homeless people at your local neighborhood shelter.
