My first SAT score was a 2050 (610 CR, 790 M, 650 W), which I did not send. My second -- of which I did retardedly send -- was a 2050 (670 CR, 700 M, 680 W) also. I recently took the ACT, where I got a 33 (35 E, 33 M, 30 R, 32 S), clearly better than my SAT scores. Now, I'm applying to competitive engineering schools such as UMich, GA Tech, UIUC, etc. and those colleges have my second SAT with my relatively bad math, but I don't want the two SATs to seem like a blemish on my application next to my 33 ACT. So, should I bother putting my first SAT on there; can my identical composite score negatively impact my chances or help me due to the great math section?

Did you do score choice when you submit the SAT score? If you didn’t it would include the first SAT score. Anyway, your more recent and better ACT score will trump the previous scores. The school would look for the better scores among your submissions.

@billcsho I’m not sure if I did score-choice or not, the CollegeBoard just gave me the opportunity to send my scores for the second test to 4 schools while I registered for it. But if it’s indeed the case that schools would look for the better scores among my submissions, then I’ll might as well include the first score.

If you are not sure, it is likely you did not. It should have included the previous score.
