I might be taking classes over this summer on campus and since I will be living at VDC, I was wondering if the shuttles run during the summer?

I’m pretty sure they don’t. I’m in your exact situation an I’m just going to get a bike.

I’m pretty sure they do, but their more strict during summer, I think. you have to put a colored sticker in your ID to show that your taking summer classes.

Hmm… I guess that would make sense. It’s just that some of the classes I’m looking at are at night, so walking back at night would be a pain, but i guess the bike option works as well when all else fails.

I think you have to pay to use shuttle during summer.

this is what it said on the vdc google page, but i think it was for last year:

Non-residents (and residents who lost their first sticker) will need to purchase the sticker from UCItems for $60.00. Alternatively, anyone who wishes to use the service may pay $1 per one-way trip to the driver. To view the summer shuttle schedule, please visit - [UCI Shuttle Services - Home](http://www.shuttle.uci.edu/).
