Shuttle from Huntsville to Birmingham

Since many students do internships in Huntsville, I was wondering if there were shuttles available from Huntsville to the Birmingham airport. Although Huntsville does have an airport, Southwest doesn’t fly out of there, as of now, and it may be cheaper and quicker to get a shuttle from Huntsville to Birmingham, and then fly Southwest out of Birmingham.

Any Huntsville residents know any travel tips?

Don’t know if there is a shuttle. Whenever we fly Southwest, either from Nashville or Birmingham, we drive and park in the remote lot. This usually still ends up cheaper than flying out of Huntsville. Although on occasion we can get a good deal from HSV. Airtran flies out of Huntsville, so those going east may get a good price with that airline.

Bumping up this thread as it’s getting towards the summer and some kids may be working in Huntsville and need transportation to Birmingham to fly out of.

Has anybody checked with the shuttle that the kids use to get from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa? Maybe they would shuttle between HSV and Birmingham? Depending on where in HSV it is between 20-30 miles more than the Birmingham to Tuscaloosa trip.

This one looks promising: [Executive Shuttle Network, LLC](http://www.eshuttle.net/)

Huntsville has an int’l airport. If you’re working in Huntsville in the summer, fly to and from there. No need to fly out of B’ham. Even if the HSV price is a bit more, it’s likely going to be cheaper than paying for 2 shuttles (which I’m not even sure exist). Plus, the trip from HSV Int’l to Cummings Research Park is about 5 minutes…another plus for flying into HSV
