Has anyone ever used the shuttle service to the airports (specifically Midway Airport) for travel? Do most people go home during the fall break? Any comments please?

Yes, it is a good way to go if your parents are unwilling to pay the extra to fly you out of South Bend (which is the best way to go IMO). Yes, most people leave for Fall Break.

Is there some type of shuttle service from ND to the South Bend airport? Is it the same service as if going to Midway?

Nope, you have to cab it or have a friend take you to South Bend (SBN). The shuttle does go to Midway and O'Hare though.

how far is the drive to all three airports?

10 minute drive to South Bend, about an hour and a half to the others.

When I fly into O'Hare in five days, I'm going to take a Coach USA bus that takes 2 hours (plus the hour time change) and drops you off at the corner of Holy Cross and Notre Dame Ave. for around $35.

There's no more time change, Blamm. South Bend now conforms with Daylight Savings Time, and is now on Eastern time during the whole year.

Yeah, but Chicago is still Central, so there is one.

Chicago is central? Really?

Yep (that is all I wanted to say but it has to be 10 characters...darn the posting rules)
