<p>I got into newhouse but now I am wondering which program at Syracuse is better for film. Which program will teach the most and be the better door opener?</p>
<p>I imagine it depends on what door you want to open. VPA is film as an art form. Newhouse is film as journalism. So one is going to focus on aesthetic values – theory, history, direction, concept and the other is going to focus on post, deadlines, ethics, production. Does that help at all? (This is what we gleaned visiting both programs)</p>
