My sister currently attends princeton, and I plan on applying next year. Will I get any edge or advantage from princeton admissions due to the fact that she is there? So do they value sibling legacies at all, because I know that generational legacies hold a great deal of sway at princeton? Thanks

I don’t know if they give them a bump, but there certainly are a lot of siblings at princeton… I would assume that it matters at least a little since they want to keep families happy and donating.

I agree, I’m sure it will definitely help you but how much will never be known. Just like many many legacies are rejected. If you were on the borderline and they were deciding between you and another candidate, a sibling legacy might be your tipping point or deciding factor. Otherwise just like other legacies, you never know.

Ehh, not nearly as good as a real legacy status, but it shall certainly help.
