Siblings at Penn

Hi everybody. I have an older brother that currently attends Penn and just finished his freshman year. I was wondering, do the admissions people care if you have a sibling who currently attends Penn? Will it help my chances of being accepted or not? Thanks

Formally? No. Informally? Maybe. If your brother is well connected, has friends in the admissions department , and personally vouches for you, it might help you a bit.

^ Well, it’s a bit more helpful than that:

:)

Do you guys think having a sibling that attended grad. school there a few years ago would help at all?
