Does anyone have any siblings that have risen to become what you would define as "successful"? Does anyone ever feel like you need always need to be on top of them and be the best? I don't know but it seems like the competition is much more among my family members than it is with others. It is just another feeling...

I think I saw a thread similar to this so if anyone could direct me to it, it would be great.

I'm the older one, so my sister has to live up to me. HA.

Just kidding -- we both have our strengths. I'm a little stronger academically; she's the more social one. Ya know? It all evens out. Focus on everyone's individual strengths, not just if a family member is "better" than another at something.

Well, my little sister is mad at me for not being Ivy League material. She has two best friends who went to Harvard and Yale, while I'm aiming for University of Florida.

Of course, there have been some failures in my Chinese church. One of our recent graduates is going to community college and the other one is going to University of North Florida.

I guess I can't be that bad, considering I'm going to be a national merit scholar.
