Hey guys so I'm not feeling the best right now on the monday before the psat which is on wednesday. I'm really sad because I wanted to do well on this.

do you guys have any suggestions as to what I do?
i was thinking about possibly not going to school tomorrow so that i could be well rested for the psat.

what do you guys think?

Yeah, same situation here except I have the PSAT on Saturday. Take tomorrow off, and rest up. Then just focus on the PSAT Wednesday. Maybe you can have someone pick you up after PSATs. But good luck on the PSAT.

last year I had a fever of 103 two days before the test. I was out of school and came back on wed JUST TO TAKE THE TEST. I was still feeling like total crap, headache-ing, nauseous, etc.

Took the test and didn’t feel liek I did that well,

then December came and BAM

Math 80
Writing 73
Reading 66( I was sick ok? gimme a break)

totall 219

NOW I AM A NATIONALO MERIT SEMI-FINALIST IN CALIFORNIA!!!

Moral of story:
- don’t risk being sick fro PSAT
- if u are sick, don’t give up. Put 100% on the test day!

thanks that is really assuring!
yeah im staying home today and im just hoping that i’ll do well enough tomorrow!

^ same thing here. I have the PSATs Saturday, but I took today off to catch up on rest (and work) so hopefully I don’t get sicker! :)

This may vary person-to-person, but I’ve found that despite feeling badly, I don’t end up getting significantly worse scores when I’m sick.

With that said, however, I’ve been taking Airborne every day for about a week. :)
