SICK -feeling full and nauseous after breakfast today. What is this?

So I ate what I usually ate for breakfast. I had 2 over-easy eggs, sausages, oatmeal and milk. I feel I ate a bit too fast since I was in a rush to not run late to class.

I went to the gym and worked out but felt very weird afterwards; I kept on feeling very full so I skipped lunch. Now, I even skipped dinner because I still feel very full and even slightly nauseous (not to mention, I have fever symptoms that appeared after I got to my room)

I can barely burp and feel weak. My stomach feels tight and I feel as if food is still sitting there.

My roommate gave me Gas-X and had 2 gels an hour ago but still feeling bloated. I feel very uncomfortable.

Does anybody know what this is? Doesn't seem like poor digestion, because usually I feel better after drinking a carbonated drink.

Check the expry dates on your food, you could have gotten some mild food poisoning if something went bad. Or you could just have a stomach bug.

Lactose intolerant?

If you’re worried, perhaps consulting with a doctor would be more beneficial then asking a bunch of college students and strangers to diagnose you.

I don’t feel like posting the required temperatures for each thing you ate… but I hope everything you had were in it’s required temperature, didn’t expire, and you properly cooked your sausage to 170-180 degrees Fahrenheit.

There is a stomach bug going around in our area (Eastern LI). It comes on VERY quickly and without much warning. Most people who have had it, also had a low grade fever the first day. It’s fast but furious–lasting somewhere between 48-72 hours.

There is a stomach bug (exactly like described by nysmile) going around a couple of upstate NY colleges also…

Stomach bug might be a possibility because I do have a mild fever.

^^hit the health center tomorrow…feel better!!

i think u may b pregnant

It could be a bowel obstruction as well

It’s funny you guys mentioned the stomach bug. That is happening here too, in Maryland. The two local high schools had significantly lower attendance rates in the early part of this week. Plus, of the ten members of my family who are local (excluding the ones I live with), six have had it or are just now getting over it. It was definitely a 48-72 hour thing. The fever was low but the symptoms were violent and debilitating (my aunt lost 5 pounds in three days).

^Yup. The best way to describe it is “fast but furious”. My husband had it. It started with him complaining that his stomach “felt weird, full, and bloated”. The fever came about 2 hours later, followed by body aches (typical with a fever). He actually thought he was coming down with the flu. He was awoken during the night with the “furious” part of the stomach bug (no need to be graphic–LOL). He was better at the 48 hour mark but didn’t feel a lot better until 72 hours later.

My friend’s son came down with it in the middle of the night on Monday. Again, “fast and furious”. He was a lot better on Tuesday and actually went back to school today (Wednesday).

Anyway, there is definitely a stomach bug going around. My suggestion is to stick to Ginger Ale and water to keep hydrated and don’t eat too much for the next 2 days. Stick to toast, saltines, and clear broth. Obviously, I’m not diagnosing your problem but informing you that it may be a stomach bug similar to what’s been going around in our area.

The stomach bug hit a couple people while I was in florida for a week too. No clue if we brought it there from VA or if we just brought it from FL back to VA when we came home.

I think it might be a stomach bug; today morning I woke up with a sharp painful sensation in my stomach. One minute I’m on the ground and the next minute I’m fine like no other. I’m on my way to the University store to get some Smart Water and chicken noodle soup.

Congrats. You’re pregnant.
