I am a junior this year and it is incredibly stupid, all the people are immature, my school is like a half hour away, it bores the **** out of me. I want to go to college now! The last two years went by fast, but this year is going by so freakin slow. Help me, how can I ease my impatience.

AMEN! Cannot wait for May '11.

^Stole the words right out of my mouth (figuratively, of course… I should say right out of my fingers, which were about to type that comment).

Seriously. Only 1 week of senior year has passed and i’m so ready to get out. only like 35 more weeks… :(

Senoritis is gonna hit you so hard XD

Just ignore people. That’s what I do.

You lucky seniors, I still got another two years, you guys think these two years go by fast?

I agree with you completely. I wish I could go to college already so I won’t have to deal with the immature kids at my school. I don’t really get along with most of the kids here either. And yes, school is BORING for the most part.

said i’m so sick of high school, so tired of busy work.
so done with wishing kids would grow up,
Said I’m so sick of high school, so long and boring
so why can’t I get off of HSL?

^ lol I didn’t get that that was a spoof of that song until the second “said”

By the end of the two years you will think they went by quickly, but until they pass not so much. I’m sick of busy work, sick of immaturity, sick of going for 8 hours each day before going home and doing even more work, and sick of stress from worrying about colleges and completing college apps. I just want my acceptance (or rejection) letters already so I can figure out where I’m going to be going.

High school sucks. Luckily, I’m a senior. :)

Yeah, sophomore and junior years seem to kind of blend together (despite very different systems of classes, so just time-wise). Senior year came fast.

Me too. Is it June yet?

^^ It did. It seems like 9th grade was last week.

Man, I’m sick of school in general. I don’t even want to go to college. I have no idea what I want to do at all.

I would just like to point out- MANY of these same complaints will follow you into college.

You will go to school for hours. Get out and do MANY more hours of homework.

You still do busy work.

You still have immaturity.

You still have weeks that go by slowly but then it feels like they flew by.

When you get here you have even more stress. Your high school GPA doesn’t follow you but your college GPA might. You have to worry about getting a job or getting into grad school rather than merely getting into an undergrad college. The list goes on.

It’s always going to be there- might as well make the best of it while you’re there.

Same here. It’s only the second week of my Senior year, and I’m already done with this school. I go to a private school, so what absolutely sucks is that I have been stuck with the same people since 6th grade. (Most people left though.) I can say, almost 100%, that I know them inside-out, and I strongly dislike them.
I guess you can say I am a “loner” in a sense, but I am quite fine with being independent. I don’t know but, has anyone ever felt that they are more mature than their average classmates?
Anyways, my class is VERY small, and I mean VERY small. Consists of less than 15 people.
I should have just taken dual-enrollment courses at a community college. Then I would only have to stay for like 3 periods at school and then leave for my dual-credit classes, successfully having to not deal with people at my school… I regret not making that decision. sigh
What a bitter, bitter life I have.

I think I am switching into independent study to ease some of the pain. I hate the teachers the most, they are ■■■■■■■ and make the work 10 times harder than it should be, assigning unnecessary assignments. Either they let me into independent study tomorrow, or I just give up, I mean I am so wore out right now, and the worst has yet to come since I just started my junior year. I had to go to school with a 104 fever today and I am really depressed at how forced education works, they should definitely let you graduate after sophomore year.

I think it’d be a good idea to have a CC school. It would be majorly competitive, but an interesting topic nevertheless…

I totally agree with all of you who say they’re sick of high school especially due to immaturity. Seriously, the group i hang with are just drifting further and further away. I don’t relate to them anymore coz they’re just so immature and annoying to deal with. They also don’t care about much else but school it’s sad. Plus, high school in general just sucks. I hate to tell you little freshmen, but it does, unless you go to some prestigious prep boarding school.

i got senioritis the 4th day of school. but i can’t wait to get out of highschool come june.
