sick of people whining about their grades

yea, I'm not good with the practice SAT math questions AT ALL, it really sucks.

I have to admit I'm one of those people I guess, I mean I can sometimes come off that way, like when I get a 98 on a test, I'm always like why didn't I get an 100. It's just the way I am. To me second place is losing.

Yes, child... welcome. Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome... insert trademark evil laugh.

I agree with Craze, everyone is smart in their own way, it just depends on the thing.

there's no point *****ing about this on CC. this is where all types of these people get together.

some people are just overachievers. Some people just like to be the only one with straight As. There's nothing wrong with that.(unless they start crying over an A they got when they were expecting an A+)

Just to tell you guys, most people that are active on College Confidential are liars, they lie about their schedule and everything. They worry about Bs just to act like their smart and always earn As. I can tell that some of you guys don't do well in school because of how long you spend on this forum.

I used to be active because it was summer, now it's the school year so school takes up my life, but some of you are still too active here. Most people that go to Ivy League never even go to this site. Use your time doing other things with your life like; studying, practicing, playing, etc. It's not very wise to always be on here.

Those people that come on once in a while, they are the SMART ones. They know life, they know what it means to be smart.

Some people on this site are here because they have low-self esteem and noone here is perfect. I bet most of your IQs are 110s-130s, but that doesn't mean you'll do well in school.

Most people on this board that aren't satisfied with their grade are faking it, they most likely get As, Bs and some have Cs.

Just note, I said most, some here are actually truthful and can prove thier schedule.

condita ab urbe, 2719

I'm happy with B's, as long as they are in honors or AP classes. If I get a B in an elective, then I get mad.

I doubt it, Masterus. There's really no use in showing people grades. People visit because they can find valuable information about college admissions, and are concerned about schoolwork. The typical B or C student wouldn't visit often because they show concerns for other things.

It's annoying when you use yourself as an example, because honestly, we don't really appreciate you degrading people on CC.

people don't use the discussion forums to get usefull information. It;s the rest of the site that is useful. People (most of them anyway) come to the forums to waste time.

Well, I do. And contrary to that, there is useful information and advice in the High School Life forum. Most of the talk is academically related, such as how to structure ECs, sports, and classes. It's the Cafe that's not as related.

Actually, you are wrong again, stuck is right. You are one individual...You don't make up the majority. What do you mean by I'm using myself as an example? I used myself as an example when I said that the people that don't come on here often are smart. Read the discussions, it's mostly about pity and most of the questions people ask are about themselves.

I disagree with Masterus as well. I happen to be on this site often (well, not 24/7) just to check things out, and I especially stalk the college admissions/what are my chances forums so I can check out other high-achieving people's stats and compare them to mine.
I also enjoy talking about academics and that's what I come here for. I tend to go on CC while doing my HW sometimes and just read a few threads. Sometimes I might reply, other times I won't. I go onto CC more often during the weekends due to the leniency in schedule.
So no, just because I spend more time on CC doesn't mean that I'm a worse student.
I do it because I care. Too much. Waayyy too much. So much that I'm obsessed. I also enjoy the company of other academic freaks. I come here to vent about my frustrations in academics sometimes (i.e. bad teachers).
But Masterus, I do see where you are coming from.

I can't see point in proving one's schedule.

Yo masterus, you have a new friend.

I hope that Masterus is actively pro-pledge of allegiance.

"I pledge allegiance to the christian flag of the united states of america"

yea, DAMN YOU LIBERALS.

i was jk in that quote

Yes you can distinguish, I've noticed some of the people that aren't doing well in school are replying. You have 10 hours to do a project, you could use that 10 hours to work on it or you can start it the last 5 minutes and have a few words. Which is a wise choice? Noone would pick doing a project in 5 minutes and have a few words, which don't even fill a rubric.
