I started this thread in CAP21 since it seemed a lot of actors/actresses in Sideshow were/are in this program. My d and I saw “Sideshow” on Sat. night in the city, directed by an NYU student. It was PHENOMENAL. The talent was incredible; so many excellent singers! The staging was very interesting, costumes were great, the choreography, while not in abundance, was also excellent. I was SO IMPRESSED. My d, who also is a sophomore in CAP21, was going to try out for it, but her summer job precluded her from doing so. I’m surprised it didn’t last long on Broadway?/Off-Broadway? because the music was amazing (except for 1 song I didn’t particularly like, ALL the other songs were great). Kudos to all involved! We arrived a bit late due to the hurricane weather (drove from CT) and there were dozens of people waiting for “standby” tickets; a sellout! Boy, were they ticked off when we took 3 of the last 5 tickets! Oh, well! I hope they do this show at NYU (and they use the same director; he obviously knows what he’s doing!)

Glad you hear your report. I just today met a member of the cast (sorry, don't know in which role). So much fabulous and interesting theater going on!
