Man, heaven is really gaining some quality souls of humanity lately… <3
Loved reading about his whole life. He was such a great role model for any kid coming from a less than ideal background.
As a teacher, my favorite film of his is, “To Sir, With Love.” I have the theme song from that movie on my phone’s playlist.
After reading about his life I have more films of his I’d love to see.
RIP
I edited his name to be spelled correctly in the title - hope that’s ok @Nrdsb4 !!!
Thank you!
I loved “In the Heat of the Night”!
So many firsts, breaker of so many barriers. Thank you sir. RIP
I love that movie–probably my favorite of his. And I love that song. The original is wonderful, but there is also a live version that’s on youtube and spotify performed by Michael Stipe and Natalie Merchant that I adore.
Aaaah men
Aaaah men,
Aaaaaah aaah aaah men ah men.
Sister, do you really expect me to build this chapel?
Had a major crush on him when I was a teen. What a beautiful man.
I just rewatched" Liilies of the Field"for my 101th time…
Tonight maybe “A Patch of Blue” (Shelly Winters won an award), or maybe “To Sir with Love” one of my favorite actors and movies…
Last year we re-watched “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” (1967 - with Sidney Poitier, Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy). Still thought provoking.
