<p>Okay so I live in the DC Metroplitan Area and threre are some amazing day schools here. I'm also looking at BSs like Exeter, Andover, Choate, Deerfield, etc. I know I probably won't get into any of them but I would like to see what some of y'all think. I want to know are all of these schools academically on par. And are the DC schools on par with the top NYC day school's. I also heard that if you're not a Senator's kid(or president's, haha) it's amazingly hard to get into some of the DC schools. Should one even bother applying? Also I will be needing about 55% FA for the boarding schools and around 40% for the day schools. And also is the college matriculation for these schools comaparable?</p>
