Siemens 2010

Oh yeah, for the exec summary, is it one page double spaced or 1 page single spaced?

I did double space. Both team and indi. are equaly competitive.

Can we find a sample Siemens paper anywhere online?

sweetsmiles-CA, ecology

crimson - mine was about .8 of a page, 1.5 spaced. Whatever you think best describes your project to laymen without going into too much detail and complexity.

hypsmc - I don’t think we can. They’re still works of the writer and I doubt that you’ll find one online. You could however search the titles of past winners on Google in quotes, maybe you’ll find one that’s published.

what research are you doing, Presidont?

Guys who gets qualified for this?

^ [Siemens Competition - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Siemens Competition - Wikipedia)

Deadline is within 40 hours! Anyone still haven’t turn in their research report yet?

Doing this and intel next year

Im glad that isn’t my last name. Was the guys first name richard?

My question is: how does Siemens foundation/College Board have the resources to read all 1300+ research papers within two weeks and make expect selections?

Some of the research papers are quite complicated and require field specialist attentions. The competition schedules (only two weeks for judging) make me question the fairness, competency and integrity of the Siemens Completions judging process.

hypsmc - Mine’s an epidemiology/computer project (but I classified it as a CS)

shortcut - I believe they have A LOT of judges. Think about it, a 20 page paper probably takes 2-3 hours at most to evaluate, and they have two weeks. Even if they have 5 judges per category they can probably easily get through the preliminary round.

And you still have until tomorrow 5 PM to send it… just be prepared to spend $20 for Express :P

Actaully I heard this year they are expecting 2,000+ research papers.

^where ya get that from?

lol, anyone sending it overnight?

^ ME. LOL. If FedEx sends it morning tomorrow…by express will it arrive by friday 5 pm est?

i think it will…where are you from? also, how much does fedex expess cost? like 20 or so?

CALI =) yeah like 20…

Titles dont count in the apge count right?
