Haha, I sent it express today (from Cali). so stressful! I keep telling myself not to put these things off until the last minute and then I always do
It was about $18. And guaranteed by noon Friday.

^Wait. What time was the drop-off?

If you send by Express through USPS by 5pm it can arrive next day at noon (overnight). Although check usps.com to get the proper dropoff time.

Wait. But does the title page have to be in the Report file or can I just print one out…cuz it’s not required.

I dropped off at like 4:55 and postoffice closed at 5.

Is anyone gonna answer my question about the title?

Sent mine today… It was home made, but I had it edited by a PhD.

I am really nervous!!! It was about the creation of an efficient carbohydrate fuel cell…

I really hope that I make Semi, seems like it’s impossible to make regional

can anyone tell me about the title? howd you guys do the title? it doesnt have to be included in the CD does it?

It’s listed on the confirmation page, supplementary form, etc. I mean, it’s everywhere… I just had a title at the beginning of my paper

I just sent my paper in this morning using express. I was “guaranteed” that it will arrive in New Jersey by tomorrow noon.

Good luck to everyone else!

A title page does count toward the 18 page count, crimson. I e-mailed Siemens the question a while ago. Hence, it’s not required. For mine, I just put Research Report on the paper, and write my title on the confirmation page.

Two hours til the deadline!

SENT =) 10 char

I just mailed mine today. It is an astrophysics project.

Do people get a confirmation after they submit the project?

No, you do not get confirmation. See the Research Project Instructions, page 13

“Due to the large volume of projects received, confirmation of receipt of Competition
documents is not possible by telephone or email.”

how long did all of you guys spend on your project and how far do you think youll get? =)

^crimson
I’ve been working on mine since last November. I would be very disappointed if I don’t make at least semifinalist and would very much like to make regional finalist.

Is anybody else here working on getting their research published?

Sweetsmiles, I did exactly what you did! I sent mine yesterday last minute too, someone told me about it on Monday! I’m so glad I took science research last year! I sent in a water project.

I submitted it this morning, and I expect to have my comp sci project submitted. Jeez, I wish the selection process was more open and known!
