From the website:
The Siemens Awards for Advanced Placement are awarded each year to students with the greatest number of scores of 5 on AP exams taken in grades 9, 10 and 11

Eligible AP subjects include the following:

* Biology
* Calculus BC
* Chemistry
* Computer AB
* Environmental Science
* Physics C: Mechanics
* Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
* Statistics

I was wondering if anyone knows if the finalists for this scholarship have generally taken and received 5's on all 8 of these tests, or if there's a estimation of what the average usually is.

Anyone know how hard Comp Sci AB is? I took A because I was an idiot, and found it extremely easy.

I'm taking A this upcoming year because that's all they offer at my school. I was looking at the marine biology case study on collegeboard and they said that instead of doing chapters 1-4, you would do 1-5 in AB.

I know someone who did 5/8
* Biology
* Calculus BC
* Chemistry
* Physics C: Mechanics
* Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
And, he got 5s in all of them.

Thanks, I was mainly curious about wehther the recipients usually take ALL 8 of the APs, or if a lower number might still have a chance. I guess it does differ a lot depending on the state.

Oh and several of my friends who took CS AB said it was very hard.
