Ok, I’ll be blunt.
I want stuff. I heard that several years ago, every Siemens Semifinalist got kindle fires and backpacks. Also, their school got a banner with their name on it. But I have a friend who was a semifinalist last year and he said he didn’t get any prizes.
I am a Regional Finalist, so I hope at this stage, I get some kind of prize.
Did regional finalists get anything for participating last year? I know regional finalists get $1000 in scholarships and I guess that’s ok…but I want something tangible. Will I get anything or will Discovery Education cheap out on gifts again?
