Is there any advantage in terms of college admissions (not the purpose of why I did it) of competing in Siemens and doing lots of research if you don't win anything?

As opposed to what? Doing nothing? Anything you pursue shows something. Winning is better than not winning. Participating is better than not participating. It is what it is. Don’t worry about it.

So can I submit an abstract or a summary of my results to colleges? and how big of a plus is competing in it
