Siena Need Based Aid

Just curious for anyone willing to share details of their Siena FA package.

My daughter, who has an EFC of zero, received $8000 Siena Presidential Scholarship and $2700 Siena Grant leaving a gap of over $7000 after taking all loans and work study.

Just wondering if this is typical for Siena.

I received FA from Siena. I got a good amount.
My parents are going to be helping me pay.
But i got Mission Scholarship and St Francis Community scholarship
I dont know if its typical.

Siena gave me AMAZING aid…all of it merit based.
$22,200 in Scholarships (Deans’, Mission, Franciscan) per year.

Siena gave me a full ride, and actually exceeded the Cost of Attendance>

Dean’s Scholarship $9,000
Mission Scholarship $300
Franciscan Scholarship $6,000
Siena Grant $9,800
Federal PELL Grant $3.400
Federal ACG $750
NYS TAP Grant $3,175
Federal Perkins Loan $1,000
Federal Sub. Stafford Loan $3,500
Federal Unsub. Stafford Loan $2,000
Federal College Work-Study $700

Total Awards: $40,165

Cost of Attendance: $37,305

I am extremely grateful and I realize how fortunate I am, but I feel bad because I still probably won’t attend.

my dd received a presidential and a dean’s scholarship for a total of just over 16k, but I haven’t heard anything about the mission one. Thanks for any information.

would any of you be willing to share GPAs? My son has a 95 GPA, and Siena was his safety school, but he fell in love with it, and would like to attend. We however only received $12k in merit aid,(Presidential & deans) and then 5500 stafford, leaving $19k+. we are paying off loans from my daughters college and cannot afford that, thought Siena would try harder? thoughts?
