Hi, just thought I’d post a thread for the finalists for these programs to discuss them. I have an interview with Siena/AMC on Feb. 7. I’m a little hesitant about the program because I’ve heard Siena is not that great of a school regarding the sciences. I toured and thought it was okay, I don’t think I’d go unless I got into the program, and even then I’m not so sure. What are your guys’ thoughts?
A pre-med curriculum requires about 11 courses across science (in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, physics) and math (calculus, statistics). With respect to Siena, the strength of its more advanced science offerings would pertain to you mostly under the condition that you would like to major in one of these fields.
Review the posts in the current year BS/MD thread. Open and go to the bottom and search for Sienna.
Also you can search the results thread and see if any student who are in the program.
