That's weird. I still question whether it means anything, though. Also, I'm worried about looking at anything, because I doubt I'm supposed to be there. Plus, the phone call from USCards is kind of... Yeah.

hahaha, yeah that is sorta wierd. It mught just be a glitch, but I still can't log on... we'll see

How do you guys have your USC email addys already?

it's not an official usc email address; it's the one you used to sign up to do your application online. same as the SIG addy.

I didn't use any email address; I just used my USC ID, my MMDDYY DOB, and that Oasis site.

This is weird. I'm not admitted either but I just tried out the Oasis site...typed in my App ID number and birthday for password. It told me to make a new pin number so I did, and I could access the site as well. I'm not sure if this means anything because I called yesterday and the counselor told me they had received my Mid-year grades but nothing much to indicate that they had made a decision.

Maybe someone should call and ask whether or not Oasis working means anything.

ydolem and NAgony: Did you apply before or after the scholarship deadline?

I applied after...actually, I applied really late haha. Like 4 days before the Jan deadline?

Ah. Well, I was thinking that it might have something to do with scholarship review (either they made a decision and entered it but plan to mail it later, or there was some mistake where those reviewed for scholarships were placed into the Oasis system), but I guess that's not it, then. I wonder if anyone has called about this.

i applied before the scholarship deadline. and i wouldn't call them imo. they might not appreciate our "initiative"

nagano: That's what I was thinking. :)

nagony* sorry! fingers...went crazy.

I agree, but I'm still curious. D:

My SIG doesn't work. :(

Did you try all of your (if you have more than one) USC IDs? If you have two, one should be on the bar codes, and the other should be on the mid year response site (https://camel2.usc.edu/MDYResponse/MDYResponseLogin.aspx). That's what happened to me, at least, and only one of them would work on SIG for quite a while. Also, did you try Oasis?

Thank you Shirobot, it works now.

My apologies to all that interpreted my earlier comment the wrong way. I meant that IF you can get into OASIS now, then it's probably a computer glitch. I know how you all feel; even I was like this too last year (and I remember OASIS didn't work for me).

I should add though for the curious that the info in OASIS is really meant for current students only. (like tution bills, class booklist, STARS report). There's nothing of relevance for admitted students.

Well, I think based on the numerous # of students who can log into Oasis, that I can conclusively state...that...it....means .....absolutely nothing! HaHa. But we had fun, didn't we?

USC Anxiety Thread Part 2

Indeed! i wonder what number we'll hit by the end of March. USC Anxiety Thread #589????
