lol why was this thread revived?

because collegehopeful78 was bored and isn't that reason enough?

Errrrr I sense bitterness here....bitter, lonely people ranting online....

Girls get comforted because usually it's a guy's fault if they can't ask a girl out or if they can't get a date in general. Haha.

^ yea, but a lot of times it is the girls fault. just saying.....

90% of high school dating is a fraud or a facade. Its just organized hooking up. Its college and beyond where there is more depth. But it really depends on the guy I think. The mature/very serious/slightly feminine guys don't do hooking up but real dating whereas the average guy just does organized hook ups. I don't think girls have as much of an input on this but thats due to no reason just my thinking...

^lol at "organized hook-ups". but yea, what you said is mostly true.

hpa, it can be the girls' fault because girls do have much control over the situation than the guy does; but at the same time, girls can't do anything if the guy is too much of a slob to attract women in the first place or is way too scared to make even the slightest move.

My point is that if a guy has trouble getting a date, it's either because a) he's a creeper, b) he's a slob, or c) way too shy to even talk to a girl.

Some of my friends who haven't dated (I still don't think anyone really dates in high school) say its because of the way girls play the game. They play it hot and cold etc and some guys (particularly the more mature/slightly feminine serious dating guy) don't know how to deal with that.

Its foreign to most of us and if you're a girl looking for a date don't play those stupid games. Thats just what I think.
