Significant boost in SAT score

I took my SAT in my senior year. pulled off 1900.

an year later, after intensively reading NYT and texts, my score is around 2300 range.

Knowing that improvement can't hurt me,

I decided to retake the SAT.

However for personal reasons, I won't be able to take in in March.

To make everything short, my question is:

"Do you think taking it in May would get less attention than taking it in March?"

I am confused. You raised your score 400 points and aren’t yet satisfied? What exactly are you trying to pull off? A 2400?

Don’t make the SAT your main EC.

Hard to believe many colleges would accept March scores for entrance next Fall.

Hmom - There are an abundance of schools that have application deadlines from April 1st and beyond. A March score would definitely be accepted by various institutions.

Now the problem is getting a May score in for entrance next fall. Colleges post their decision in May-June. The only way I can see how your May score could be factored into your application was if you included it in an appeal.

Sorry, I meant May scores.

Are you saying you’re scoring 2300’s on practice tests and that you won’t be able to take it until May?

For one, I wouldn’t be too sure that you’ll score a 2300 on the real thing. And two, yes I think your SAT will only be relevant if you give them enough time to see it before making a decision. If I remember correctly, most schools send out transfer decisions in April/May.
