Significant Grade Drop?

Sorry, if a similar thread has been posted already...

It seems like that I might be getting a one C among my classes this second

semester. But as I am getting solid As in all my other classes, would one C

make Stanford rescind my decision?

Thanks for any input!!!

And I was wondering because Duke specifically states that if you have even one C, they will "reevaluate" you. I'm sooooo worried right now!!
:(

One C isn't going to kill you, although you should work hard to keep the others up. And don't worry that Stanford will just kick you out, rescinding an admission is a big deal and they would definitely give you a chance to explain.

Also, what class is it in? That might make a difference.

I don't think one C is going to make a difference at all. Like zeller said, revoking admissions a big deal, and one C is going to look like an anomaly, not a pattern. Maybe if you had mostly B's and a C it would make a difference.

Do they ask to see your EC's? Because I kind of quit some of my more useless honor societies.

No, the only thing we still have to send in is a final grade transcript.
