Does anybody know where to find a silent digital watch? There's like nothing on eBay or amazon and it's too late for the Saturday Act anyway with all that shipping time.

Does anyone know how to shut off the beep on a g-shock when you set off the timer?

If noone has a solution I was thinkin g of using an analog watch and just setting the watch to 12:00 every section and just looking at the minute hand to keep track of time

If you have virtually any digital watch you can open it up and put a piece of tape (regular scotch) over the battery/sensor. Usually that alone is enough to stop the beeping. It will save you the effort to buy a new watch. Try opening up one of yours and putting some tape over it. Then as soon as youre done with the test you can take it off an have the same old watch.

I used it for SAT and ACT and had no problems. Also, it was a g shock i think.

I bought one that beeps from walmart, opened it up, and, with my hands, took out the spring that attaches the battery to the speaker.
The whole thing took no more than 5 minutes. It was quite easy, and I still use the watch today.

I have a digital watch, and it makes beep sound whenever I press a button. It like a timer. How does putting tape over it help prevent the beep sound. Mine is not a one of those that sets alarm off once it reaches 0. Mine starts from 0 and goes on for ever. But in order to start it it makes a sound.
