<p>I know this is an old thread, but wanted to let anyone reading this know that my sister was not allowed to use a silent stopwatch during the SAT. The proctor read a scripted message to her stating <em>nothing</em> could be on the desk, silent or not, or a 0 would be given for the test. Seems it is a silent wristwatch or nothing. </p>
