Silly question about declaring your major

So im trying to apply to usc as a major in public relations...but one of the supplemental portions of the applications is another essay of your intentions at the school and for the career...

what if i dont get accepted in my major but i get accepted at usc...is that possible? sorry i really dont know about all of this stuff...

also do those people read the rest of my application? and my personal statement? or just my essay about interest in public relations?

ok thanks for the help!

Do you think i should declare a major or would it be better to go undeclared and do it after i cross my fingers get accepted?

I AM NO EXPERT but I would assume you will have no problem in terms of your major. However I am pretty sure USC would like to see transfer canidates have a clear major. A big partof the app will be your letter of intent that is read directly by faculty at Annenberg.
