Ok this is a very stupid question, or actually, more of a confirmation. I downloaded the printable forms (teacher recs, counselor recs, etc) for Yale SCEA. As you know, the forms have some color in them (maroon-ish color of the common application IIRC). Is it okay to print it in black, because I had run out of color ink years ago and never bothered to replace it. I know this is a stupid question, but I do not want to make ANY mistake in a matter as serious as this. So, should I go ahead and print it in black? One word answer would suffice :)

well, i don't think it really chances the whole thing, but you apply to yale just once in a lifetime... so yeah if i were you I would BOTHER MYSELF and buy some color ink. Otherwise the admission guys will say " hey this guy is really lazy REJECTED"... just joking, but really bother and send your application as everybody else

RICEFARMER--forget about it---print it out with the black ink. they know some people do not have access to printers with colored ink.

Print it in a completely different color so you stand out.

Yeah...like white

I was thinking more like a bright rainbow gradient

well I guess the Ivies ARE liberal...

They don't care about the color. They care about the content. They are going to make copies anyway, and I am sure they aren't going to waste money by making color copies.
