<p>Just curious- how much did you improve after using silverturtle's guide? If you used other prep material other than the Blue book that you found helpful please list.</p>

<p>I read silverturtle’s guide a bit too late (discovered the goodness of CC after i took my SAT…twice -_-) I’m going to use CC to my advantage for the third time in oct.</p>
<p>I read his guide before a mock SAT from revolution prep 3 weeks ago. I read the entire grammar guide, noted a few things and then when the mock SAT came i got a 680 in Writing and a 10 on the essay ( my actual on SAT Writing score was 8 essay, 560)</p>
<p>Of course, it has been 3 weeks since i last prepped for anyone (act included), but i am going to revisit the guide soon. It really helps because he clears up a lot of frequently asked questions.</p>
<p>Not quite sure yet. I’ve read through his entire guide and memorized a bunch of the lists, and it looks like I CAN score an 800 now. I was scoring 700-750 before. Now I guess I could score 750-800. (Only regarding writing – I’m studying for math on my own, and I haven’t done much CR practice).</p>
<p>Silverturtles guide is only for grammar. Other then that, his guide doesn’t elaborate. Basically you need to practice math and CR somewhere else (BB, etc)</p>
