I am going to be starting my junior year in a couple of weeks, and I've been looking at Simmons College, and I think it would be a really good fit for me. However, I don't know how well more current scores will get me in. Currently I have a GPA of 3.01 and my rank is 191 out of 347 (my school is one of the best in the region, so everyone is ridiculously smart). I haven't taken the SATs yet but my practice score was 1620. Am I at a good place for Simmons or not? And how much would I have to improve? Is Simmons a possibility?

I see that no one has answered you. And I am certainly not an expert. Was your practice SAT on all three parts? The best way to check is to go to the Simmons website or someplace like niche and look for the middle 50%.

The admission office may be able to help.

Hello,

I am a senior this year who is applying to Simmons. From what I see, your SAT is in range but your high school rank may set you back. Since it is such a small school I would recommend to interview, visit, and know your regional admissions officer form Simmons. The admissions staff is really helpful and courteous! I am sure if you got to know the staff and show them why you are a great fit, then I am positive you will have a chance! Best of luck with your search!
