I have had some research experience with a Stony Brook prof., though I haven’t won any major research awards or published anything yet.</p>

<p>Hiii I recently got accepted to Simons as well. I’m also from the Bay Area and ill be attending in all likelihood since I really wanna go to New York :)</p>

<p>I’ve done research at 2 labs (neither in ny) and wrote a paper at one, but it wasn’t published or anything.</p>

<p>Hey congrats to all who were accepted! A family member of mine was accepted and is excited to attend & will be dorming. For those accepted, what do you think helped? A friend of mine wants to apply next year and I am offering encouragement.
