For people who live in the area/kind of close to stony brook, the policy this year is that we have to pay for 7 days a week housing, but we can take trains home on fridays and sundays if we want to</p>

<p>Of the 18 or so intel semifinalists they announce each year, how many of them completed their project in one summer and how many were already working on their project for two years or so with their mentor? Does anyone have this stats? Because creating intel worthy project in 8 weeks seems very tough to me, unless they give you a very clearly defined project. Can any past members share their experience?</p>
