Simple Math question:

Is zero an even number?

Yes ,it is :)

Eh, then Kaplan lied to me.

EDIT: NVM! it says “even INTEGER” Zero isn’t an integer x-x crud…!

^
More confusion!?

Zero IS DEFINITELY an integer! In fact, one way of defining the integers is to say it is the set containing zero and all of the numbers you can get to from zero by adding or subtracting 1 repeatedly.

Zero is DEFINITELY even! When you divide it by 2, you get no remainder.

What zero is NOT is positive. For some reason, this is a common stumbling block. I know a 790 scorer whose one mistake came from including zero as positive…

Oh my lord, im so stupid LOL

the book says “POSITIVE even integers”

there we go.

I need to refresh my head of math vocab LOL!
