i was just wondering when the psat will be this year.

october 12 or 15, something like that

There is also a test in november. My school takes the november one. (Our registration deadline is October 27)

are you guys ready?? my parents want me to do really well on this or they're gonna be diappointed.. this is my first time taking it! jeepers creepers

I'm sort of not stressing too much as I am only a sophomore.

Hmm... you guys are taking the New PSAT... right?

I heard it was harder.

Good luck!

:)

Well....the first New PSAT was administered last year....

What do you mean NEW?

I don't know, I thought this year was getting a new test to coincide with the New SAT. The class of 2006 definitely didnt take a new test tho...

:)

umm.. the New test was already administered then....

yeah its going to be the same as last year.

These are the official dates from the College Board site:

Dates

In 2005 high schools may administer the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 or Saturday, October 15, 2005.

october 12? dang, that just leaves three week to study

We are testing October 15. (nvm about the november post)

Yep, Oct 15th for me too.

Is learning from the SATII collegeboard blue book sufficient for the PSAT or is there somethin else that I should do?

Vocab words unless you are not alraedy pretty good at that.

And abstract algebra discrete math....Also, the p-set topology usually gets me....

I Need Last Years Psat!!!!! Scan It To Me!!!!

sr6622, its not that complicated. Maybe some simple set theory, such as intersections and unions.

which SAT are you taking?

this one has some linear algebra, abstract algebra, and graph theory....it is hard...

I'm taking the PSAT in the U.S., and I don't think those topics are covered.
