simple question, please help: when to ask for transcripts?

<p>I'm back with my thick-headed bemusement at the college application process.</p>

<p>Now that I know schools send transcripts, when should I fill out a request? Is it okay for the school to send the transcript before I submit my application? Or do I have to specify the time I want it sent?</p>

<p>Your application will be accompanied by a full list of info from you HS. When you complete your application, you’ll also give your counselor supplemental materials – implicit is the transcript request.</p>
