The other route is the 2-4 program, in which you start as a college freshman taking pre-pharmacy courses, and then apply for entrance into the pharmacy track at the same or another school. For example, my niece did two years in pre-pharm at Wilkes, and then applied to various schools for the remaining years, and is now in the Carolinas.</p>
