Simple question...

This is a fairly simple question that has really been bugging me lately. I'm a current college student who is considering graduate school. However, I attend a very unknown university (West Chester University in Pennsylvania). Exactly how much will this affect my application? Can I get into a good graduate program despite attending a non-presitigious university? Thank you in advance for any input! :D

Can you? Certainly. Will it help you? No, no it will not.

@cosmicfish so my chances of acceptance are the same no matter where I attended for undergrad? :D

^I wouldn’t say that - people at better-known, better-reputed undergrads may have a small advantage, but not because of the “name” but rather the better resources they have access to. But that doesn’t mean that if you want to go to Berkeley or Harvard, you can’t. You just need to make sure that you work hard to get the things you need (research experience, a good writing sample, internship experience - whatever that is depending on what kind of program you need).

Not what I said!
