Simple SAT Subject Test Question

Sorry if this question is too simple to even warrant a full-fledged thread, but here it goes anyway:

I just signed up for the Physics subject test in June, and am studying for it. I am also aware that I can take certain tests on the spot if I wish, and I was thinking about just staying late and taking the Latin and a history test and hope I do well. My question is if these last 2 tests, if they are not good, can hurt my college application. That is, I want to know if I can withhold certain scores and send good subject test scores, and the colleges either can't see or won't care that I took the others and didn't send them.

Thanks.

EDIT: Sorry I didn't put this in the right sub-section... Hope you guys don't mind.

I think this depends on how each college views your scores. Wait for someone else to respond though, as I’m no expert.

mxmmstudent, there’s something called Score Choice offered by the collegeboard that allows you to withdraw scores of your choice, if you so wish, under the condition that the college of which you’re applying also accepts the Score Choice policy. You will definitely find more information about it if you google “score choice sat subject test”. You can also look at the standardized test score policy of the college of your choice if you want as well. Hope that helped :).

And yes, you can take tests on the spot if you wish, if that’s another one of your questions.
