<p>I want to add that the people that benefit from affirmative action now are usually first generation or second generation immigrants, from middle class backgrounds.</p>
<p>Ex...haitian guy counts as black, rich pure white spanish girl who once lived in cuba counts as hispanic, and some guy who lives in a mansion also gets preferential treatment? There is no way a non-religiously bent person can say that MIT views each applicant case by case based on their personal experiences and social factors alone, and doesn't go for the whole making their numbers look good game...</p>
