Simply Smith

I hope some of you parents who have daughters in high school, or who may know a high school guidance counselor will pass this information on regarding an opportunity to attend Smith's program in late April. If your younger D's or her friends even have a thought about attending Smith or any other all-women's college, they owe it to themselves to visit and find out about this great school. This day is planned for h.s. sophomores and juniors. Here is the schedule for "Simply Smith"

I'd like to the welcome the newest Smith-obsessed to the Parents Forum (again). The torch passeth as the old maketh way for the new.

But, seriously, I've talked to several dozen Smith students and if you talk to them long enough, virtually every one of them says something along the lines of "Well, I never meant to attend a womens college" but all of them encountered something in the process that made them seriously give womens colleges serious consideration.

Because they're a single-sex school, I think they go deeper into the admissions stack than a comparable co-ed school and are thus a great "admissions value."

Oh stop it, you're making me blush!! :D
