Simr 2010

What was your SAT score?
like was it under 2000 or above?

I want to apply to ther program next year but I want to get an idea of whether i have the possibility of getting in or not…
thanks,

Many students had excellent SAT scores (or PSAT scores; in my case I actually received my first SAT scores after submitting my application to SIMR. I sent my PSAT scores in instead) but many students with amazing test scores were also rejected. I think personality matters a great deal; all of the SIMR interns I spent time with were not only very bright but also interesting and fun people to spend time with. They make an effort to welcome a diverse student body, but their main priority is finding students interested in research (instead college application padding!) or willing to give it a chance.

im applying to simr this year 2011 is there anybody who got accepted and can maybe show me their essays?? only if you feel comfortable sharing it with me

is there any way i can maybe see ur essay?? if your confident sharing it with me

Hi: To those who had applied to SIMR this year, would the SIMR officers look down at your application if you have a long list of EC’s? I heard that a long, winding list of EC’s would be looked down upon during college apps, but I’m not sure if med internships also apply the same idea.
