Anyone else freaking out?
If I don’t get into SIMR… my life would be over man Been dreaming bout this since freshmen year
Low-key really want to participate but also high key know I’m going to be rejected so
Would anyone mind sharing their stats? I applied with a 3.63 GPA but got a 35 on my ACT: 35 E, 35 M, 35 R, 36 S
I’ve heard from a ton of people that stats weren’t very important when deciding who was accepted and who wasn’t. I heard it was the essays that could make or break the application
here is mine though:
4.63 Weighted
4.00 Unweighted
No SAT or ACT unfortunately
@TS9034 I feel the same way
Any OOS?
For the essay that asked to describe my motives for applying, I kinda based it on my interest in neuroscience. For my diversity essay, it was a very generic immigrant essay I think my first essay was great but the diversity one was terrible
If you want, you can just DM me your email and I could share my essay doc with you haha
4.0 GPA, 1480 PSAT, 800 SAT Math 2, 5 AP Calc AB, 5 AP Physics C, 4 World History
one mo day…
do you know if they will email us or call us? also, do they send an email if you are denied?
@sallylikesschool believe that they call if you are accepted and then email at 5:00 if denied.
I’m really scared bc i dont know about my recommendation quality.

good luck to everyone tomorrow either way!
YOU GUYS SCARED???
I’m just really scared that they will call me and I miss the call
It’s by email by 5PM PST. Does anyone recollect how many admits they do per year?
@sallylikesschool theyre not going to deny participation if you miss the call. They send an email too if you’re accepted.
@CD2020 It usually ranges from 60-80, but my guess is 60 this year. Only because there has been a decline in the number of applicants since 2014 and ever since there have been only 60. Less OOS applicants
“Only because there has been a decline in the number of applicants since 2014…”
I am curious as to where you got that data from? I would suspect that the number of applicants should have gone up as it’s Stanford and the program is free.
