I haven’t seen a discussion page for the SIMR 2020 application so I am going to start one.
I have a few questions:
How can non-locals get housing if they are under 18?
What is the Sat/Psat requirements?

my guy, if you’re applying out of state low key you dont have a good chance. Also there are no requirements for those tests they are just recommended.
@batboythegoat What are the odds for out of state people?

@batboythegoat Do you have a source?
applying from socal lol rip
@hinterland if you look at the acceptance threads for years prior, very few if any SIMR applicants w/out in-state housing were accepted.
Also, if you’re not a poor or URM there’s a much higher chance of being rejected. The program is moving in a direction to be promoting URM students more. RIP us regular kids. Also R.I.P Kobe.

Im going to answer this question in multiple comments so that I can get junior member but here it goes
There is no SAT requirement per se but it should be competitive relative to the applying size for this years applicants and just judging based on the people applyingn from my school in fusd prolly around 1500 min
It’s pretty rare for nonlocals to get housing unless you know someone in the bay u can live with
Does anyone have simr essays from prior years that they can link me
